  1.        Thanks for taking the time to download the premier issue of
  2.                                  "GFX News"
  3.                         (Pronounced "jee-eff-ex News")
  4.   The first all graphics format magazine, travelling through the super
  5.   information highway at the speed of light.
  6.  
  7.      GFX News comes from the same creators as GIF News, another magazine
  8.   launched back in November 1988.  Now in 1994, GFX News has been born,
  9.   bringing you the latest computer news and reviews in high resolution
  10.   graphics.  This unique format allows us to bring you much more inform-
  11.   ation than conventional text-only electronic magazines.  Not only that,
  12.   but you will see that GFX News is more fun to read.

  14.      So, let me begin by telling you how to read this magazine.  First
  15.   of all, each page of the magazine is stored in a file format called
  16.   GIF, which stands for Graphical Interchange Format.  GIF graphics file
  17.   standard developed by Compuserve back in 1987 that you to view a picture
  18.   no matter what kind of computer you have.  IBMs & clones, Macintoshes,
  19.   Amigas, Sun Sparcs, Silicon Graphics Machines, etc. can all view GIF
  20.   files with the right viewer.  Viewers are widespread and freely avail-
  21.   able so finding one should not prove to be difficult.  This issue of
  22.   GFX News uses screen resolution of 640x480 pixels in 256 colors.

  24.      Each file that represents a page of the magazine is numbered in a 
  25.   specific order, so you will know which way to read it.  For example:
